I watched a bit of it. I got bored and put on some Rumpole of the Bailey DVDs instead. Much more entertaining old dear.
Anyone else watch this? How utterly deppressing... I thought neither the family left behind of the VdP proved themselves "deserving" of the legacy.
My sympathy had been with her family until they talked about cutting off Paddy's TV and electric. She may have known her SIL had not a charitable bone in her body, but perhaps trusted the VdP to do the decent thing for what was obviously a well known but vulnerable character in Galway.
If ever there was a lesson for spend it whilst you have it...
Hmmm...and what did "she who must be obeyed" have to say about that?
Her joy is like an instinct, joy
Of kitten, bird, or summer fly;
She dances, runs without an aim,
She chatters in her ecstasy.

I thought that she was far from poor?if everything had been sorted out at the time of death of the poor lady
