ROS : what does "ref to sp" mean as transaction type

Hi all
I am due a refund for 2106 per ROS.
When processing it I decided to pay some as preliminary tax for 2017. I was still due a net refund which showed on ROS. No refund has arrived.
I now see this ref to sp as a transaction type for amount of the net refund under payments and refunds.

Anyone know what this is about?

Refunded / refundable to spouse I'd say..?
 
thanks yes that makes sense . she is due it . wonder how that works - jointly assessed but its my bank account on ros ......??

It should arrive to the linked account... how long since the assessment landed? I presume given the time of year it'll take a little longer for refunds to land...
 
Yes would have thought so . Actually looked again at ros and there is also a refund in transactions for 2.50! The 2.50 arrived in account today but no sign of my wife's refund . Not sure what's going on tbh. Why split them ?
