Rooney struggling to be fit for Milan match

Re: bail out

Yeah - we used to have similar leagues too. Good craic. Just noticed that the picture above bears a striking resemblance to the view from the Jodi Stand side of the Shed/Des Kelly Stand in Dalymount across towards the Connaught Street "stand" (er, um...) side - apart from the cover on the far side... ;)

Re: bail out

favorite player has to have been jackie jameson(rip), shame about the injuries, met him years later, one of lifes true gentlemen.

Yeah - frustrating player to watch (in spite of what many would say) but brilliant when he turned it on. Tragic the way he finished up. This topic is very sombre for one that started off in The Craic... :(

Re: bail out

Clubman, it will look like that when Rovers are playing there.....
f*ck all there. Maybe it was when Dundalk were playing. On second thoughts no there's too many there for that :lol

Re: bail out

P.S. Clubman, I missed your post about JJ , in my opinion he was one of the finest to ever grace a L.O.I. pitch . MHRIP

..

Sorry for turning the post sombre Cm. I know a guy called John Cleary who played LOI for 76 years or something like that, he said JJ was so far ahead of everyone else in the league it was ridiculous, he was revered by one and all. He should've/could've made it in england and the international stage but he had a bad injury so no club would take a chance on him. I was working for St V de P in the early 90s when I met him, he was just so impressive as a person.

Feeling all happy tonight. Baby car number 2 came on the scene earlier tonight. second one without a tail so still no hope of daddy negotiating a bidding war between cherry orchard and real madrid/man utd/AC milan. :)

I think I remember him playing all right. I'm not sure how much your know about Jackie's post footballing years but ultimately it all seemed quite tragic. Myself and a number of Bohs supporters (as well as a few from other clubs too) turned up at his removal/funeral to show our respects and support for the family for what it was worth. I worked with somebody who had nothing but good to say about him when he came across him in the mid 90s when he (Jameson) was working as a nurses aid with the mentally handicapped including a member of my colleague's family.

Congratulations on the new arrival. :)

Hi car,

Congrats to all. [broken link removed]

Will you be goin' for the ladies soccer team now?

Best to post a question in one of the other forums to find out your best options on saving for the dowries!

..

thanks sue, I was hoping for at least a 5 aside, but mrs car is adamant that thats it. Now where did I leave those dodgy propholactics? :)

God, Thanks for reminding me I'll have to fork out for 2 weddings now.
Is there a financial advisor in the house?

Re: ..Baby car....A mini or a baby FIAT ?

Congrats Car from Leather**** ( thats for Sue ). Forget about two weddings... the story is now that the bride & groom pay the bulk and you are off the hook, and when the little cars come of age marriage will be forgotten. :p I hope. I have two "cars" that could be due for "service" soon... I hope not :(
