Right to be forgotten on a website

I signed up to a site that sends various emails a day for discounts at hotels etc.
I am currently dealing with a dispute and once that is resolved, I want to exercise my right to be deleted from all of their records as they are a bunch of idiots and I do not want to hear from them again!!

I intend to send an email to tell them this. I will also unsubscribe from their newsletters etc

But what if they send me news letters again? Are they breaking the law? What comeback do I have?

If they are a European company you could report them to the Data Commissioner.
