R Ravima Registered User Messages 2,849 10 Dec 2013 #2 Don't pay him. If he did the job, he should invoice you. You will pay on invoice as you in turn will only be paid on production of the invoice. If however, you agreed to pay him cash, then you have a problem as you promised and can't fulfil.
