I second that - we went a few times, we liked it so much. However, be prepared to queue. It opens about 8.30 - not sure of exact time - and a queue will already have formed. It you are there about 9 you might have to queue for 3/4 hr. until the first group have begun to dribble out.can highly reccomend a restraunt called Quinzenits on the Placa Reial just off La Ramblas..... directions.... 1/2 to 3/4 way down heading towards the seafront on the left hand side of La Ramblas... the restraunt is to the very left as you enter the square...u cant miss it - top class food, very reasonable prices, always music and entertainment on the square while you eat.... I pay it a visit everytime I go to Barcelona - enjoy
Is this not Can Culleretes, but its on the right of the tiny lane not the left? http://www.culleretes.com/ENGLISH/ENGwhere.htmThere is another little restaurant....very typical local food, but can remeber the name but roughly 200yds down Las Rambas (heading to seafront) down a tiny lane on the left. Restaurant is about 50yds on left...real old style with salamis & ham hanging. Prices are very reasonable....about €25 including loads of quality wine & some Sangeria..
