Hi
I've had my house for 11 years now. And it was fitted with a nice cheaper boiler by the builders. Its a SIME with analogue timer on the boiler. There's no heating controls. Its always made a silly amount of noise for the last few years. Every time its serviced the guys keep saying its probably the pump, its on its way out. But its still ticking a long but who knows how efficiently.
Should I bite the bullet and replace it now with something with heating controls. I dont really have the money. But I've child number 2 on the way in January 2017 and I'd rather be ahead of the curve in terms of replacing it than getting caught out at some stage.
Any thoughts? Am I crazy?
