Wether the house is 1 yr old or 50 yr old it makes sense to have an Inspection or some kind of survey. Just to let you know the condition of the property. Even if you are not intending to re-negotiate the price because there is a problem wether big or small , or many problem or a few problems with every house out there. No house is perfect and you should know what you are getting yourself in for. Plus it's good if your inspector/surveyor tells you the good points aswell as the bad. The cost of housing as we are all aware is incredible and for the small house inspection fee it is a well worth investment.
