Hi
I am trying to price around to get a new quote for my house insurance. We have a 4 bed bungalow with 1 bath plus 2 on suites and sunroom. It is a fairly standard house built in the 80's. It is currently insured 200 K to replace plus 35k contents. Does this sound ok ? Is there a method of calculating this. I think we have not update this for a while and as we are pricing around I wanted to have the right figures
 
for the contents, walk around and price all you have. You will be surprised and may be over insured on the contents. People can be underinsured on buildings and overinsured on contents.

Don't forget to include personal possessions, jewellery if not insured under All Risks and clothing/bed linen etc.
