Just have a few questions on voluntary PRSI Contributions if anyone can help clarify - thanks.
In this case person had Class A paid PRSI contributions for 20 years.
This was followed by a few years of credited contributions.
If they now do voluntary paid contributions
Q1:How much do they need to pay per year - is it €500 per year or 6.6% of the last salary from a few years back.
Q2: if the start must they continue to age 66. ( ie can you stop at a point before age 66)
Q3: must they back date the voluntary contributions to their last working day, or can they just pay them from current date onwards. This is From citizens information website - but am a bit unclear is it from last working day or last day of credited contribution?
Q5: What do voluntary contributions not cover that credited contributions do - (is it dental items and such)
Thanks.
