Myself and the wife have a Debit card from our joint Halifax current account.
The following four items have been dedcuted from our account on the 31st Dec 07:
DEBIT CARD STAMP DUTY - POS - €5
DEBIT CARD STAMP DUTY - POS - €5
DEBIT CARD STAMP DUTY - ATM - €5
DEBIT CARD STAMP DUTY - ATM - €5
The Debit card can be used at an ATM and at a POS, but is the same card, so I would expect to be charged only once for each card.
Is this correct?
