PTSB App and Site issues

Funds transferred to my PTSB account yesterday still not appearing as received.

I’m really getting fed up of the bank. They have had so many tech issues recently. Last month major issues logging in for over a week.

I also can't login using the mobile app and the desktop version is incredibly slow.

I am equally sick of their all round uselessness when it comes to online services.

This could be a complete red herring, but Revenue's Online VRT Calculator is busted since last night. (Safari 18.1.1, MacOS Sequoia Version 15.1.1)

There have been a few recent changes like the "Toggle Contrast" on the top right which switches between a nice, sedate, Revenue-ish colour scheme and a mad day-glo yellow on a black background - Kilkenny on a bad night.

The options to enter the Make and Model of the vehicle are now missing and it insists on the Statistical code being entered and you now have two fields each to enter the registration year and registration month. A bit mad there Ted.

I spotted a nice 2007 V6 Subaru Legacy 241hp all-wheel drive estate priced at £1,650 in England and I was hoping to see what Revenue's pound of flesh would be. If they've made changes to their code it could have knocked the thing out of kilter. I wonder if PTSB could have done the same?

Last night, I could not login. I was getting an error 8061 on latest app version, So I deleted the latest version of the app and data, and re-installed same verion and it worked (hence mention to delete and re-install, as it worked for me).
An hour ago, I could not login, but the error code was 1001.
As of now, I can login on second attempt (with some functions appearing to be working, others not).

PTSB are now blaming their party supplier for the technical issues. BTW they use Citi Bank to handle all their SEPA Transfers.

PTSB customers frustrated as pay cheques fail to land

The issue is bad timing for the bank with today being ‘Black Friday’

The bank apologised after the issue led to payments from employers and pension providers not showing up in customer accounts.
The issue is bad timing for the bank with today being “Black Friday”, a date in the calendar when retailers offer consumers cut price deals in an effort to generate publicity.
It is understood PTSB is one of at least 10 banks across Europe that are affected by the issue with a third party payments provider.
“Due to a technical issue with a third-party payments provider, some customers may be experiencing delays when sending or receiving SEPA payments,” PTSB said in a statement.
“All other PTSB services are operating as normal. We are working hard to resolve the issue and expect it to be resolved for the majority of customers by midmorning.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will provide further updates via our website, social media and mobile app throughout the day.”

Really wish I had left them when they did away with no fees with a 2,500 balance. Instead I went and switched to an explore account and off course they increase the monthly fee and you only get 5 cent now for each POS transaction.

Just announced on RTE Radio 1. PTSB SEPA not working and payroll/pensions delayed due to an issue with a service supplier AND users experiencing problems with the PTSB app.

Maybe we should all use a reliable bank like Revolut? ;)
Ive been using revolut for lite banking over the last few years. Of late I started to use their Invest service to purchase US Stocks. Has been a good experience so far even on the standard account. I pay commission after the first transaction in each monthly cycle. I find it a good way to offload spare cash I dont necessarily need and so far the stocks have risen.

According to PTSB just now website access to Open24 banking should work but the app continues to have issues.

My husband still hasn't been paid today as a result. I'd say at this stage it wont be till Monday either. App not working, website is but slow.

Website working for me..a little slow but not bad. App still not working but thats not related to todays issues.
