I have just bought five investment holiday homes there. The estate agent said that they were a great deal and that I will make a bomb. I hope you went 40 year interest only! Its much cheaper that way! less per month!!

And you'll only have to declare it if you rent it out or sell it. With €40,000 in guaranteed capital appreciation every year, who'd be bothered renting for a measely €12,000 extra? And instead of selling, release your equity by increasing your interest only mortgage. You can't lose! Property Snakes'n'Ladders anyone?
