Revenue has told accountants and self-assessed taxpayers that it has fixed problems with its online tax return form that were creating difficulties for those filing, but that it will be another week before others are resolved.
With regards to DIRT, I do wonder what % of people actually do declare it for Revenue purposes? Never heard yet of a prosecution for not paying DIRT.
Am sure a lot of new workers to these shores don’t declare it. Really is a clumsy tax system we have, built on fear of prosecution.
Has anyone using 'My Account' dealt with the *withholding tax*. I had 6 months with BluOr and didn't get the correct paperwork sent in enough time. 20% withholding tax applied.
Wonder has anyone dealt with that?
