Problem with Biocycle

I don't understand why everyone is giving examples such as the engineer digging a garden for asbestos, knocking walls, etc. All he had to do was inform his client of the limitations of his survey, instead of giving the impression it seemed fine. .

So the engineer was employed to survey the property, how does he prove that the founds, walls etc are (or are not) in complaince? You say he should inform the client the limitations of the survey, then he should just put a disclaimer on the entire report

Insurance will cover this (if you can’t get any joy from the builder)

However, the costs you have been quoted are crazy…

Cost of digger and dumper for a weekend (€250)
Cost of chip pea stones (€300 for a 25 ton lorry load…you wont need half this amount!)
Cost of piping (if required) €200
Labour? (you can do it yourself …It will only take half a day!) if not €300 max

250-300 for a dumper and digger for a weekend!!!
Thats a great deal.
Who would drive the digger?

If you look up "ground workers" in the yellow pages you can get a guy to hire and drive the machine.... also the big hire shops (Navan Hire) will also provide you with a name of a driver (providing you hire the machine off them!)

In the past I have asked a few of the ESB/ County council lads if they wanted a nixer (gave them €300 for the day for a JCB and dumper!)
