Probably! They don't have many posts (-50ish) so I dunno that they'd know how to do that! Someone nice had to explain to me how to put someone on the ignore list!

It's probably fair to guess at a breach of one or more of the posting guidelines (link at the top of the page), or an accumulation of "penalty points".Why are they getting banned? ...

No doubt they were and probably are in other forums.... Some of the "banned' were lively contributors ...
Blasphemy may or may not be in breach of the posting guidelines, depending on the context.... and I did not read any blasphemous scribbles.
I think some banned people can still post if they keep within the rules.
