I work from home part time for a US company. They pay us through an Irish accountancy firm however they don't contribute to any pension. They have set up an arrangement with Irish Life in order to join a PRSA pension with them. How are Irish Life performing in the current pensions market? Dont see them mentioned here at all? Are they ok in terms of annual fees etc? I've been reading a lot about the Eagle Star one and that looks like its worth checking out.

I only earn 17K part time so wouldnt have a huge amount of disposable income to put towards a pension however I have 10K in savings that might be worth investing in a pension. Will I get tax relief on this?
I am 38 yrs old, worked full time up to 2000 but had no pensions to transfer from previous employment so I need to get something up and running quickly. I have been working part time since Nov 2005 (at home with 2 kids).I am not sure if hubbys pension will benefit me at all, checking this out now.

Any advice would be great!
