Pension Credits from Unemployment

back in 2010 i was awarded credits once my cash entitlements had run out. I seem to remember somewhere reading that those credits should have been at the same rate as when I was working can someone confirm if I am right or not?
reason being i am being told by sligo that the credits i was awarded cannot be used for my state pension as they were not reckonable paid seems i was given reckonable credited which appear to be practically worthless

If you have a minimum of 520 full rate paid contributions your credits should be reckonable. Without a minimum of 520 paid the credits don't count.
