I reckon the reason is that the 130 bhp 6 would be too close to the 5 grand dearer 2.0 140 bhp 6 Am I cynical or what. The 5 grand jump is because the limit from 25% VRT to 30% VRT is 1.9 L For that money I would be waiting for the 170 BHP.

D Dipole Guest 6 Dec 2005 #6 There is a new mondeo coming. The passat is going to look very dowdy beside it. Passat is where it's at now, but within the year the Mondeo will be the one to have and the current Tdci engine is very sweet.
