Can someone clarify for me. If one day parental leave is taken during the week and then one is expected to work on a saturday can one claim time in lieu (no overtime money ever given only time in lieu) for this saturday.
Have been told that because a full week's hours have not been worked because of the parental day, overtime is not due.
Q1) Is this correct? Prsi is paid for the parental day.
Q2)
Other staff who may be on annual leave for a few days during the week and then come in to work the saturday and get their time in lieu. Would I be right in saying that they too should not be entitled to this or are annual leave days classed as part of your working week in hours?
