Panel for corner bath

I have an old corner bath in the house we are just moving into. It is split and protruding from the bath itself. I have had a number of people out to look at it and they say it can't be fixed as it would be impossible to get a panel for this corner bath as it is over ten years old. Don't want to have to change the bath as it would be expensive. Does anyone know where I could get bath panel for a corner bath? Thanks.

How badly split is it? If it is a clean split could you put superglue in it and heavy duty adhesive tape on the inside? Alternatively, you could ring around some of the retailers who sell bathrooms to see if they have one lying around. Calling in to them might be better as some shop assistants can't be bothered to look if they're busy.

Where in the country are you....we got one for our bath without too much issue 3-4 years ago in a local builders merchants.

Another alternative is to tongue and groove, paint to match the bathroom if you like.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. I am in Dublin. ACA - thanks for the suggestion of tonuge and grooving - I didn't know that that would work on corner bath. My cousin who is a plumber in the West suggested timber and then mosaic tiling on top, but I think the tongue and groove idea is better if I don't manage to get a bath panel. Thanks again.
