I got a few free copies of "The Investor" magazine at the Money Show recently. There was a paid for feature in there about a property investment company in Dublin (SCK Property). Basically they are putting forward the idea of buying a property to let based on a 75% 25 year mortgage (interest only for the first 5 years) & a 25% top loan on an existing property to make up the balance. They take care of pretty much all the negotiations/fit out and rental arrangements for which they charge a fee of 6% of the purchase price and presumably an ongoing percentage of rental income.
I'm been thinking of dipping my toe into the property market for a while am looking at different options at the moment. Just wondering if anyone has any comments or have gone this same road.
