I tried to open a fixed term account with MeDirect Malta yesterday . After completing the online application, submitting photo of passport and selfie, a button to verify your mobile number has to be clicked on to send an sms to your phone. When I clicked on it, it didnt work and "something went wrong message" displayed. Itried a number of times with the same result so I emailed them and just received a standard reply asking why I did not finish my application and to ring a number in Malta if I have any problems. If the only way of resolving any issues is to ring a number in Malta I will probably not bother. Has anyone else dealt with MeDirect?
