I presume that MMDS uses a decoder box? In which case you may need a cable extension and another box. It may be that you are supposed to tell NTL that you want this and pay them for the installation and rental of another point.

Ye it uses one of them new dvr decoder boxes,looks like I have an ntl box in the bedrrom but when i connect into it the same as downstairs,i get bad signal etc....

I'm not sure what boxes you are talking about. But you probably need a two of the same sorts of MMDS receiver boxes and an additional cable run to the second point (from the antenna or tapped into the main cable run - not sure).
Ye heard about that one,but I wudnt be watching the same thing as the one downstairs.Have an ntl box on the wall in the bedroom with two connections out of them,one says fm and the other tv.Tried to bring the ntl dvr upstairs and connect the same as downstairs and i cudnt get any signal at all.Wonder is this box on the wall "turned off" and do I have to get ntl to turn it back on?
Yes, you can move the NTL box around once the box on the wall is connected (even if it is analogue). I moved it up so the kids could watch a movie in our room while we had a dinner party.
