Lansdowne House itself looks like a rotten 1960s era office building but would probably cost the OPW the same as the new Children's Hospital to replace.

And what do the bodies named so far in this thread have in common? OPW, ESB, DCC, Dept of Finance. They have all become expert at spending other people's money extravagantly.
You would think the bike shed fiasco would have been a wake up call, if not for the procurement dept SVP /leader but to their bosses to have them removed from sign off but sadly business as usual (or not as it may be).
It's time those responsible are are made accountable.
