Health Insurance New Health Insurance provider launches

In terms of reductions, you can already get car insurance reduction when you have several policies in the same household, same for the home insurance. There is also access to a free travel insurance policy with these.

Plan D seems way too cheap compared to the other insurers high end plans - I am looking for the catch!
My Simply Connect Plus policy is up for renewal at the end of this month. Plan D will cost €120 more, has a €125 outpatient excess, and appears to cover only €20 of the cost of an xray. But there are no excesses on hospital stays or day case treatment, a higher day to day/outpatient limit, plus possible saving on house insurance.

I will have to sit down and compare the two carefully, using the past year's claims as a reference point. I'd already ruled out Simplicity as not saving me any money.

However, my husband is on Laya Inspire Plus - renewal quote €1633 - and unless I'm mistaken Levelhealth Plan C will be a no brainer for him.

Me and my husband are on Laya Inspire Plus. Haven't got renewal premium yet but will be switching to Plan C too.

For me, the premium is roughly the same but the cover is better, particular the day to day which I use a fair bit.

The car discount probably won't apply because I'm on their 'minimum' premium. The house 50% would be a fair saving at renewal - that insurance line must be very profitable or else my premium will go up substantially at renewal so they'll be adding it on to discount it off. I have an annual multi-trip travel policy already that has cover up to 4,000m hiking with a different provider but I can't see that the 'free' policy has that type of cover which I regularly use.

Looks like they're in the market to complete and build up a base but I can't see them not increasing the policies with the day-to-day in the not too distant future.
