Neighbour applying for pp in corner site

im genuinely interested in how the process of 'leave to appeal' works slf, i havent been involved in one myself, so please dont think that im nitpicking...but...

just to clarify:
1. someone lied about you in an appeal... how did you become privy to the documents submitted in an appeal?? was there a public hearing?

2. you contacted the bord, obviously agrieved, and they allowed you to make a submission to counteract this lie?? is this correct?? and they agreed to allow you make a submission under the 'leave to appeal' process, although you were not appealing, but commenting on an appeal?

is this correct?

So much for it being my last post

Hi Syd,
1. No public hearing
The appeal docs are public information as far as I know.
In my case someone I know had objected to his plans and brought it to my attention.
Anybody can go to their local council and request the ABP appeal docs on any appeal as I did for the last appeal.
All you pay for is the price for copying the docs.

2. I making a submission not commenting.
My planning guy told me that ABP wouldn't care about the aspect of the lie but I still wanted to stick to the issue of the lie told but my planning guy put me off that, he told me by all means mention it but mention it in passing.
The reason ABP let me make a submission was purely because I am right beside these people.
Even though I don't own the property I have a unique view of what goes on there.
If you make a submission to ABP it must relate to current planning issues everything else is not taken into consideration.
