N26 Launch Savings Account Paying 1.30% to 2.50% less fees

if you signed up for a year with the n26 account on the 4 percent rate, can you get a refund of the 168euro euro for the months you dont use,for example if you downgrade to a basic free account now?
Yes.. you get a refund calculated on a daily basis from the day you asked to leave. Ask promptly through support chat as it took 8 days for the full closure to go through. You cannot order the standard card until the team close metal account.

Cutting their rates again in January. Metal rate cut by half a percent to 2.5%.
I’ll be looking elsewhere to move my money think I’ll be a year on metal next March so will look then.

Can only think they don’t want all the deposits they have since launching at 4% earlier this year.
If you close metal, you will get the daily rate owed back into account as a refund.
Raisin have demand deposit accounts now. App has really improved. The Swedish accounts have no withdrawal tax and are around 3.25%. Raisin now offering €200 for referrals, which seems super high. N26 are offering €80 for referrals on my account at the moment and this also seems alot as used to be €20. The bank marketing teams must feel the referrals are necessary.

Yes, pro rata refunds are being offered. If you read back over the last two pages of this thread a number of posters have detailed their experience when downgrading from Metal.
