MUD Act

Hi All,

Many apartment owners are wondering whether any owner management company is in the process of taking proceedings or has taken proceeding under the MUD Act 2011.

It would seem that everyone is waiting for someone else to take the first step.

On another note- why are solicitors so reluctant to use this new legislation ?
Your views on the matter would be very welcome.

What aspect of the MUD Act are you looking at persuing?

MUD act covers quite a lot of things from structural set up of companies to finance, governance and settling disputes.

Sorry about the misleading title.
What I am trying to find out is whether any person or owner management company has been to the Circuit Court using the new legislation covered in the Multi Unit Development Act 2011.
I know what is contained in the Act however cannot find out if anyone or an OMC has managed to have a case heard before a Judge using the terms of the Act.
