Mortgage Interest Relief for Idiots

Ok, maybe that's the issue? No, when I got the first TRS payment (think it was three months later) it also worked out at 77 per month.
 
Does anyone else think this may be the issue? I thought you would still get the full years relief, regardless of what stage it started at?
 
€95k @ 5.25% results in monthly interest of €415 or about €4600 for 11 months.
you are getting 20% relief on this so your years total should be about €915.

In your case the €4600 is below €10,000 so you are below the limit.

If someone paid €15k interest over say 9 months they would get a full years allowance as they would have paid above the €10,000 limit in that year
