shouldnt you be watching the road rather than what other people are doing in their cards :p

Forgive the stupid question - but are you seriously saying you drive your car with hands off the wheel for 20 seconds at a time in fine weather, but 4 seconds on a dark night in wet/windy weather?

What are you doing during this time your hands are off the wheel? On the mobile I presume?
