I hate when people refer to someone's "passing" instead of their death. I could probably understand that it might help some relatives at a time of grief.

But last night on the RTE News, they referred to the anniversary of Michael Collins's passing. That is plainly ridiculous.

Speaking of passing and Beal na mBlath, there's a story long doing the rounds here in Cork of a famous footballer's son who recently himself passed. On a trip to West Cork he is said to have remarked, when pointed out at Beal na mBlath where Michael Collins died, "Tis a bad bend alright"
 
It's important to be able to pass yourself in company. I'm sure the aforementioned Michael was at least as erudite as the next man.
 
I think he needs to spray it out the wing quicker, get the full backs on the overlap. I'm getting sick of this 10 yard right angle pass, we need more ambition, he needs to take more responsibility to contribute to attack.
