i have to claim for 2005 expenses and need to know is there a cut off date by which it must be submitted?

Do a search on AAM - I think there was a poster before who said you can claim back for 5/6 years?

No - you can only backdate claims by 4 years.

There is no rush on getting 2005 MED1 expenses tax relief claims in as long as you get them in before the end of 2008! But the sooner the better.
