I don't usually use the M50 toll bridge but circumstances meant I drove through three times in recent weeks. I don't have any type of account set up so I always paid online by credit card before 8pm the following day.
Or so I thought until I got notice from eFlow saying I hadn't paid for one of the journeys.
Now I genuinely did pay each time and have print outs for each payment. But now I think I may have entered a wrong digit when typing in the car reg number on the occasion in question. On the form there isn't the opportunity to re-type the car reg, or to review the car reg when confirming payment details. I just wasn't concentrating enough.
Having read here of the telephone hell that contacting eFlow about tolls can be, is there any point in me phoning and pleading my case? Or will I just end up having to pay the toll (which I believed I had already paid) plus the additonal charge anyway which at €9 in total would make it one expensive journey?
Has this situation happened anyone? What was the outcome?
As always, I'd appreciate any help on this.
