Lone parent allowance, again.

i was previously on lone parents allowance, up to 2 years ago. Will have to apply again.Just wondering, do they have a record of me on file from previous time?
As in, will it be straight forward to get again, because i was on it before? or does it not make any difference?

Stressed about what to do and what entitled to. Don't want to have to go into office. Would like if could just do it by post.

You will have to make a new application for One Parent Family Payment. There will be a record of your previous claim, but a new means test will be carried out and you may be called for an interview or visited depending on your circumstances.
