Lidl Lgfa ad

There is a 3 year plan in place for a formal merger of the GAA, LGFA and Camogie association. That will end up with a single organisation, single fixture list, an equal access policy and one membership. Currently, there is nothing to stop a female becoming a member of a GAA club but they may also need to register seperately to play Camogie and seperately to play Ladies Football.

It will be great see the Lidl sponsorship money spread out more equally....

Which of course is a nonsense as the organisation it will become will certainly continue to sell separate commercial sponsorship deals to maximise their income and spend that money as they see fit.
