I wonder could the regular contributors give me some advice. Snowyb was amazing to input to this area.

I'm currently Control 150 secure
Could you advise how
Power Policy Leya

and Simply connect plus differ or if they cover hi tech procedures re heart and orthopaedic ref shoulder knee

And if i drop to Simply connect plus covers hi tech heart what are the implications re two year rule, not sure of impact of that

Hi I think Laya Connect Simplicity at €1447 instead of €1824 for Control 150 secure will cover all your needs regarding surgery and orthopaedics. The excess for private and semi private rooms is less too - €175 as opposed to €200 per night if these hospitals are important for your surgery. Day case excess is slightly higher at €100 instead of €75 with Control 150 secure. Hope this information isn't too late for you.
