I've lived in Rothe Abbey for over two years (that's a few years ago by now though), 18 the Paddocks was the house we used to rent. I never heard anything from the neighbours, so the walls were solid enough. The estate itself is very quiet and the only incident I had with crime was that someone tried to steal my car while we were on holidays, but they didn't really manage, must have been disturbed. I had to fix a bent open door...
We used to drive down to Superquinn on Sundrive, lovely supermarket, Dunnes in the Crumlin shopping center is ok, for small things you have a maze and a spar round the corner. The buses are frequent, in my time there was no luas yet... Overall, no complaints, never encountered anything or anyone dodgy and hence have nothing bad to say at all.
