JSB at 65 is given to those retiring at 65 and that includes those who are unemployed at the same time from many posts i have read in AAM. In Here it explains you can also get JSB at 66 however in doing so you will not get any pension credits added to your record. I wld appreciate your thoughts on the following:
1. Do you get credits when you are in receipt of JSB from 65 to 66. My guess is yes.
2. Can you claim JSB at 65 and then at 66 decide you want to refer your pension to 67? Or would you be told "ah no my friend you now need to retire at 66 coz that was the condition to get you JSB" in the first place.
3. What would be the point in getting JSB from 66 to 70? Just curious on that one coz u dont get any credit added in your records. Why not get your pension instead?
Is this just a method to stop anyone using this method in getting "free" credits or does any one can think of a good reason for it?
