Exactly. So unless some exception to the rules is going to be made RTE/Irish Times are talking rubbish.Thought JP was a Swiss tax resident so unlikely he pays Irish income tax
If a company donates €250 or more in a year, the company can claim a tax deduction as if the donation was a trading expense.
You can be sure the donations will be made in the most tax efficient wayUnless he has an Irish registered company that is actually making the donation in which case he gets the tax relief![]()
