hello, My ex gf and I purchased a house together last november. We recently split up and she left. I am now paying the mortgage and have been for the past three month. We are both on the mortgage and the deed. I plan on assuming her from the mortgage and deed next spring when my finances are in order. She payed some money at closing and some money for improvements but I pay for most of the closing costs and improvements to the house. She is demanding all her money back that she put into the house althought she isn't paying her half of the mortgage anymore. My question is since their is no equity in the home yet what money and if any am I entitled to pay her now and at settlement?
