Other Is it possible to get mortgage protection insurance if I have a debt judgment

Hoping someone can help, I want to thank everybody on the board for previous help

Theoretically I am wondering would it be still possible to get mortgage protection insurance and home insurance if I got a debt judgment against me and settled it,

I understand it is possible to get home insurance with a conviction or after bankruptcy,

Mainly wondering about mortgage protection

Could I get the required mortgage protection needed when you already have a mortgage

Details: judgment against one of 2 joint owners

I know I can get non standard home insurance under these circumstances I presume there would be a way to get mortgage protection also if I settled by debt or a waiver

Internet says it’s possible to get life insurance with bad credit and convictions so I presume mortgage protection should be okay

I can't see what effect any of what you mentioned could have on mortgage protection/life assurance.

House insurance on the other hand do ask about convictions of anyone living in the property.
