I'm happy to lean into being middle-aged and to be selectively dismissive of aspects of modern life that didn't exist in the world in which I grew up. Sometimes I wonder it is just me, or are some behaviours just unequivocally unacceptable.
Like today. I'm at a work and felt the need to visit the office bathroom. As I went to go in, someone was coming out engaged on a phone call. That's not unusual but he was carrying an open laptop in his other hand.
The sight of men at urinals checking their phones or conducting phone-calls is one I have come across before, but an open laptop in a 'public' bathroom is a new low.
Is it just me .. ?
