I had a lot of sympathy for the tenants mentioned in the article. It must be very stressful having to move home and not being able to find anywhere, especially if you have young kids in school and you have to upend everything.
From the landlord point of view, the RTB clearly does not work and allows rogue tenants to go months without having to pay any rent. It seems easy enough to delay things and get free accommodation at the landlords expense.
