Seeking the services of a financial adviser regarding future investment strategy. €800k ARF pension pot invested in properties which I've sold and considering a switch to equities/bonds. Any recommendations or links to previous posts would be very much appreciated.

You've sold the properties in your self-directed pension, where you were dealing with a financial advisor (?), and you now want to buy an ARF with the proceeds but you're not sure if you should buy other properties (or property funds) or go the equity/bond route, and you don't want to deal with the current advisor but get advice elsewhere?

Do you just want to pay a fee to an advisor for investment strategy advice or do you want to pay for advice, ARF set-up and ongoing advice?

You could do a money makeover on here and include all your information on other assets and entitlements you may have and you'll get a lot of opinions on that. Highly likely none of them will include propert though.

Many thanks Gerard for that detailed response.
You're broadly correct with your speculation on my investment experience up to now.
Going forward my preference would be 'pay for advice, ARF set-up and ongoing advice'. I wasn't aware of money makeover but from your comments accept that this would be the best way to proceed.
