Why do you say that ? People have been predicting that the sky will fall in on house prices for the past ten years. If it makes sense on the economics of the rental stream, then any temporary price fluctuation should be academic.

What part of D1 are you looking at, btw ?
 
Its a small development of just off Parnell St... that whole area itself isn't very inspiring mind you, but the apartments themselves are of a pretty high standard!

According to Dublin City Council this area and north O'Connell st is due for upgrading over the next few years.
At the moment, its the surrounding area thats putting me off buying, but I suppose this goes with the terriority when buying in town!
