A astras Registered User Messages 59 26 Jan 2010 #1 Hi, I have around 12K in savings at the minute, most is tied up in a private Credit Union. Is it worth putting 2-3K in Anglo / investec for a year or two? I am not sure if it would be too small an amount or not?

Neither the INBS rate nor the Halifax rate is guaranteed until 31 Dec 2010. And it would be safe with Anglo if I put it there? It is an easy way for a good return from a fixed term deposit rate.
