Are internal walnut doors expensive?

Was thinking of putting these in our new house.

Do you consider them to be modern, I wonder if they would date quickly as opposed to oak - advice appreciated.

i have a lovely walnut kitchen (fitted year before last) and id love to change the internal doors downstairs to match, the walnut is very rich and doesnt date, (i dont think) we have mahogany internal doors at moment, but they are expensive (reason why i havent changed yet.. i do have websites on home pc that i was looking at, i think one of them is divine doors (no connection) maybe prices have come down, or if you or someone you know knows a builder etc maybe could buy on your behalf cheaper put vat through company etc? just an idea

We are looking at Walnut doors for a new build, I have found that builders merchants do door only from €114 plus approx €150 for the suround and then they need fitting.

From door specialists you are looking between €600 > €1000

Suemoo - yeah I like the walnut kitchen too, but I am still undecided on that one. That a good idea you suggested alright!!

Krissovo - re the door specialists is that price per door, including surround and fitting? it is expensive......

Solid Walnut doors cost €400 +
The Walnut doors mentioned above for €114 are Panelled /Engineered doors which consist of a layer of Walnut on the outside. The inner part of the door is made of a softwood
