Insurance question: Lease car -> Private car

Hi All,

I'm currently living abroad and have a lease car through the company I work with. In the event that I returned to Ireland and had to insure a private car, will the 6 years NCB I've accumalated abroad make my insurance cheaper?

Make sure that you have a letter from the relevant insurance company stating how many years NCB you have. Providing that only a short period of time has passed between insurances (time to relocate) - yr new company should acknowledge yr NCB without any hassles.
 
Make sure the letter states that you had a specific car allocated to you (i.e. not a 'pool' car).
