Insurance Mess

I've cracked it - from now on I'll hand my broker a DVD tour of my home and contents and he can work it out from that. I don't care if my policy is 100 or 500 I just want it to be right in the future. The garage was part of the house structure. How did the broker know Stifster? - I'm renting a fully furnished house which he knew - where else would I put my personal contents - out in a field? This boils down to communication I feel - maybe I could have told him more about my situation, maybe he could have asked more pertinent questions before reccomending a specific policy........
 
Sorry quarterfloun but I don't see any point in blaming all and sundry for your own mistake. You appear to be an intelligent man and it is not the duty or responsibility for the broker to maintain a vigil on your possessions.
